What Is On-Site Dialysis?
On-site dialysis means residents receive regular treatments without leaving their senior living community. This service brings two types of dialysis directly into the care setting, aiming to enhance quality of life:
- Hemodialysis: A dialysis machine filters waste and fluids from your blood, typically performed three times a week
- Peritoneal dialysis: A gentler, more flexible treatment using the lining of your abdomen to clean your blood, often done daily
